International Women’s Day (8th March 2026), Indian Medical Association Kakinada in collaboration with the Rotary Club Kakinada organised a Walkathon for Women’s Health and Empowerment under the theme “Give to Gain.”
The walkathon commenced from Rangaraya Medical College and proceeded to Bhanugudi Junction, Kakinada, with enthusiastic participation from doctors, students, and healthcare professionals.
The programme was graced by the presence of the following distinguished dignitaries:

Approximately 200 women participants took part in the walkathon representing:

* Rotary Club Kakinada
* Rangaraya Medical College
* RK Nursing School
* Aditya Nursing School
The walkathon successfully conveyed the message of women’s health awareness, dignity, equality, and empowerment, reflecting the spirit of the theme “Give to Gain.”
